IPSY SEPTEMBER 2013 GLAM BAG SNEAK PEEK

Its that time of the month again IPSTERS! SNEAK PEEK TIME! Am excited for another month of goodies and for the first sneak peek here it is: SEPTEMBER SNEAK PEEK #1: A blend or quick brush of color is an easy timeless upgrade to any look!

It is obviously a NYX single eyeshadow which I am not sure if it SNOW CANDY or WHITE PEARL which costs about $4.50 according to NYX COSMETICS website.

SEPTEMBER SNEAK PEEK #2: This must-have product has been a classic staple for every bombshell since its invention!

Its no other than Elizabeth Moth It's So Big Volumizing Mascara in black which retails at $19.99. Not sure if this would be a sample size or regular size. 

SEPTEMBER SNEAK PEEK #3: There's no limit of classic looks you can create with three of these gorgeous staples in your September Glam Bag!

Ok I will start with what I am sure first

IPSY JULY 2013 GLAM BAG SNEAK PEEK SPOILERS!!!!

Unfortunately July glam bag subscriptions are on wait list right now so if you haven't heard of IPSY its a company co-created by Michelle Phan my idol! I love her! And its a subscription for a monthly glam bag where you can receive 4-5 cosmetics in one bag for just $10/month. Check out what I got for last month's bag here. So just today IPSY released the 1st sneak peak for the JULY glam bag.

SNEAK PEEK #1 A pop of perfect color will be yours from sand to sundown.

Obviously they are lip crayons but the question is which brand of lip crayons are these???

A.  Clinique Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm  (from top left to bottom: Curviest Caramel, Mightiest Maraschino, and Plushest Punch)

B. Tarte LipSurgence™ lip luster  (from top left to bottom: glitzy, fever, and frisky)

C. POP beauty Lip crayon  not sure what name of the colors

D. REVLON Just Bitten Kissable balm stain  (from top left to bottom: honey, romantic, and sweetheart)

In my opinion I don't care if its A, B, or D as long as its not C. And I am hoping not to get the nude lip color again I would really love the red or pink color from this Although from the description of IPSY  "A pop of perfect color will be yours from sand to sundown." It kind of veering towards the POP beauty.

Michelle Phan posted like 2 days ago in instagram a product she really liked that would be the COOLA Sunscreen collection  which one specifically am not sure but that Michelle posted was this one on her instagram. Its the face spf 30 cucumber matte finish this would retail around $36. I am personally looking forward to having this on my ipsy bag this July. If you havent subscribed yet you should now!

It has been leaked that this item is going to be BH Cosmetics California Collection Eyeshadow, this eyeshadow comes with 3 colors, the colors are Hollywood San Francisco and Malibu and the cost of this item online is $18 for the whole collection.

MY JUNE 2013 IPSY GLAMBAG

Just got my email the other day that said my glam bag is on the way! TEEHEE! I am so excited for my second glam bag. So from the preview of my glam room looks like I will be receiving a Starlooks lip pencil, NYX blush, J.Cat Beauty Sparkling Cream Palette, Cailyn Cosmetics Line-Fix Gel Eyeliner and a Chella Ivory lace highlighter pencil. Am definitely gonna do a review when I finally get the glam bag. Too bad I didn't get a J. Cat false eyelashes I don't have long lashes so I use false eyelashes most of the time. MY JUNE GLAM BAG HAS ARRIVED!!!!!! WAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!

Here is what I got from my June glam bag first I got the Cailyn gel eyeliner in Iron, Chella highlighter pencil wich I now use for highlighting my brows, Starlooks lip pencil in Bare personally I really don't like this color I would have preferred to have the tickle me pink instead of this one, also I got J.Cat sparkling glitter palette SCP108 and a NYX cream blush in bronze goddess. Except for the lip pencil I pretty much love my June IPSY glam bag.

Generation Beauty Freebies Haul

So I recently went to Generation Beauty this weekend from June 1-2 2013 and I got a bunch of

free cosmetics from the event. I calculated the total amount of the freebies I got and it was $ 1041.77!!!! So these are all what I got for Saturday and Sunday combined.

I got this from the SMASHBOX treasure hunt a full exposure mascara, lip gloss and photo finish foundation primer.

Nail polishes from Nailtini and Nicole by OPI and a be a bombshell lipgloss in HOT MESS.

I also got liquid eyeliners from BH cosmetics and bought some of their products for a good deal like the 10 pc make up brush set which was made from recycled products which only costs $12 from the original price of $30, the concealer palette and 28 neutral eye shadow palette for just $8 each.

I will definitely come to the Generation Beauty next year hopefully in Los Angeles again it was a rewarding experience on my part and I am thankful that I got to attend the very first of many to come. 

My Generation Beauty experience

Last week I never would have imagined that I would have the opportunity to attend GenBeauty. It started out as a tweet to Michelle Phan that I really wanted to go but couldn’t coz I don’t have the money, it was $150 and no way was I gonna pay that much, and also I missed the opportunity to purchase tickets ahead of time for a much bigger discount. When I checked back on twitter Michelle tweeted back to me, I was so happy for just that little thing but that got me thinking more of the event. So coz I have plenty of time to fool around the internet I stumbled upon a COUPON CODE. ( Inside my head I was saying OMGdkfnkdjsbgkj!!!!!) So long story short I got to attend! And OW WOW! I really enjoyed it! It was such an AWESOME event! I got to meet other wonderful ladies that I can relate to, all the attendees, exhibitors, volunteers and staff were really kind and accommodating. And most of all ALL THE FREE STUFF!!! WOAH!!!!    And you get to have your make up and hair style done at the event. It was worth it sitting in the bus for almost 2 hours each time back and forth from home and LA Live Event Deck. It was worth the wait standing in line to meet all the AWESOME beauty gurus they were all so friendly and would really talk to you 1-on-1. This whole event has me really inspired and so I have decided to do a BLOG first ( coz am not sure yet if am ready to do a youtube video! :3). Am not an expert, I don’t have a formal education with hair and makeup but I am willing to learn and to grow. Michelle told me don’t worry if your a beginner at this you will learn little by little. That got me really inspired from her saying that to me. And also when God closes a door he opens a window. I feel that all signs are leading me to this path right now so am gonna pursue it and see what happens. Wish me luck!
